What is wrong with England?

And no, I'm not talking about football. I'm talking, in that peculiarly British way, about the frickin' weather! This kind of heat is quite disgusting. I've already had two showers today and am heading towards a third one. Please, please, please can we have some rain? Just a thunder storm would be nice: clear the air, water the plants, flash flooding etc.

I had Friday off work and spent most of it mooching. Mum also had the day off, so we went to the pub for lunch, then went to the pub for dinner. Mum cleaned her books out of my room and left it in a state of annihilation until Dad managed to cobble together one of my bookshelves on Saturday. All this is meant to be some sort of incentive to sort out the huge pile of... shit I own, which is currently stowed in the garage. I emptied two boxes of stuff, and a third one will sit in the hallway until I decide where it's going to go.

Also, remember to check out my eBay auctions (look up blacklilly101). I have two of my best loved items of clothing up there for sale, and they need good homes, as I can no longer wear them! Damn all those pies!

Oh, for a paddling pool.
