There's a tsunami warning across Japan, which makes me wonder whether I should be going into Tokyo or not today. I guess it would be safer as I'm only a kilometre or so from Yokohama Bay.
Looks like the tsunami just hit Hawaii and wasn't as big as expected.

Needless to say, it was not as big as the warnings suggested. Interestingly, on my way home tonight the coastal lines (Tokkaido, Yokosuka etc) were either delayed or suspended, citing "waves" as the cause, though nothing bigger than 1.2m was seen and that was a long way away.
An interesting link I found on the NHK website showing tsunami waves moving upstream in Chiba prefecture.
