A funny feeling in my stomach

So. I have finally gathered the guts to send off my short story to a magazine in the US. I pressed the send button on the email just one minute ago and felt the need to tell somebody. I've been tinkering with the story this afternoon - reading it outloud to get a feel for the sound of it (it's always amazing what the ear picks up that eye cannot), correcting typos (which I'm sure weren't there before) and generally agonizing over where to send it.

Anyway, it is on its way now. Time to move on to the others.
