There is an aprtment, in To-ky-o...
Jul. 18th, 2006 08:47 pm...which doesn't have my name on it.
The life-changing event was being offered a job teaching in Japan. Which I was offered, though I have not yet had the opportunity to accept it. There's a lot of thinking and preparation to be done in the next week, particularly with regards to my facial piercings, and how to keep them without them being too visible. Does anyone know of some sort of 'invisible' retainer one could put in one's tongue? The others will be fine during the day, but the tongue is a pain in the arse to mess about with.
Anyway, i'm not sure where I'll be heading in Nippon, but I did specify (as much as one can specify when one has no option) that I did not want to be in Tokyo, and that I wouldn't mind being anywhere as long as I was by the sea. Not Osaka either, as I hear it has no green space in it at all. Maybe Kyushu, which has a peculiar attraction for me, though I couldn't tell you why.
And aim to be leaving some time in November, which doesn't leave much time at all really...
