(no subject)

Tuesday's boredom was relieved by a phone call from GEOS asking if I wanted to give private tuition to a very nice Japanese business man. I obviously said YES! I even managed to get a look of surprise on his face when I greeted him with "Hajimemashite" (that's "pleased to meet you" in Japanese). I also have one of my biggest student fans for private tuition two days a week. She's a lovely girl from Thailand called Oumim, who says my lessons are her favourite. It looks like these could be ongoing things so I will have six hours of 1-2-1 tuition a week for the near future (possibly, the long-term too). In addition to my afternoon class (when it starts back up) things could be looking up on the work front. I'm still going to advertise for more private work, and send my CV off to schools to see if there's more morning work available.

It's asparagus season. I'm going picking at the weekend, so I'll be getting asparagus wee wee all weekend. Ahhh, the aroma of spring is always tinged with the odd smell of asparagus passing through my waters. Speaking of which, I have an urge to go swimming, but I don't want to get my legs out for all to see. Oh yeah, seeing might be an issue too. Unless I know the pool well I could go bashing into people without my glasses on!
