Must leave, must leave
Jun. 10th, 2005 12:53 pmHave got really itchy feet today. I can't wait till I leave FP. I want to be by myself for a while and do my own thing. I have lots of plans for all this "free time" - websites, books, articles, maybe even a bit of "work experience". Have to say that the more I think about the publishing side of things, in all its forms, the more miserable I feel about everything.
However, there are plenty of nice things going on, like leaving FP, growing things on the allotment, my sexy new computer and the trip to Borough Market I'm about to make for cider, brownies and all manner of things I probably can't afford.
Took the first chapter of my novel to the writing workshop last night. They tore it to shreds, which is exactly what I wanted. I feel like I can actually tinker with it now, as it had got rather stuck before. Now I can see what's wrong with it.
