Wharf House
Dec. 7th, 2004 01:36 pmHello.
I am now happily living not-so-sinfully with Gideon Letch. No no no, proposals of marriage have not been made (thankfully, else I may have to leave), we just haven't go round to doing anything illegal yet. It's another two or three weeks until the next full moon so I shan't be chanting and gutting anything just yet.
The move went surprisingly well. Gideon and Dad did all the heavy lifting whilst mum and I hung around in the kitchen eating choccie biscuits. We discovered on Friday night that we didn't hav e a cheese grater, and again on Saturday night. It's rather a pain when you have no grater for your parmesan.
My TV broke somewhere along the A40 and so we've had to jam a pencil in it to keep it switched on. The only other casualty was my favourite half-pint tea mug which Gid dropped. At least it wasn't 3/4 pint Shipping Forecast mug - then there would be trouble!
To me it all still feels a little odd living somewhere by myself with Letchy. Am sure I'll get used to it though.
