I was sitting in a restuarant on Thursday with Helen, Nu, and Jenny and we were talking about being chatted up, and I was complaining that no one ever chats me up, or asks me out for drinks.

So the next day at work this guy asks me out for a drink. I had all manner of thigns going through my head. That this guy was probably a nutter and was going to turn out to be an axe-murderer; that Helen or Nu had sent someone in to ask me out to make me feel better. I panicked and went bright red and stammered something about having a boyfriend, but thanked him for asking. At which point I ran away, as did he.

WHAT AN ARSE!

That's going to be the only offer I get for the next five years now!

I could at least have gone out for a drink with him I suppose.
