Have had a couple of days off from work.

On Wednesday I had the afternoon off. On my way home I was called by Star FM (Slough, Windsor and M'Head's radio station) who wanted to do an interview with me for their news article on "Crap Towns". So I chortled away to them for a little while. That was the excitement for Wednesday.

On Thursday I went up to Walsall for an interview for the new Ottakar's store which is opening in Coventry next month. Interview went well I thought but hwo knows what will happen? Got stuck in Birmingham for ages due to power cables which had fallen onto the the tracks.

Yesterday I went shopping in Camden. Bought a new pinstripe skirt and a PVC and pinstripe wasp corset yum yum. Met Nicola and Steve and thier friends Anthony and Tracy by David Blaine's box on the river. Hung about in London for a bit and went on a Jack the Ripper walk.

Am a bit squiffy after a manic day at work so going now...

Saw House of 1000 Corpses on Wednesday night. I originally wans meant to go with my sister but she somehow persuaded my parents to come along to. So we had a family outing to the cinema. The screen was full of metallers - which was nice as I never see ANY in Slough. I'm sure we looked quite odd.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a good gore-fest but not quite as gut-churningly awful as I'd hope it would be. The psycho characters are very good, and I actually preferred them to the rather weak victims. It even had a Spinal Tap in joke!

Mum watched the whole film through her fingers which was rather amusing to see.

Not everyone will like it. It's definately one for Horror fans and even then not all of them will enjoy it. I thought it was funny and horrific in equal measures. Grrrreat.
